Steven is working as Outreach Coordinator/Consultant in North Central Region (TRIAD region) with RHA Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services in High Point. He currently obtains North Carolina Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and Certified Peer Support Specialist. He has been working professionally with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations over two decades in several states.. He holds a Master of Social Work from University of Houston, Houston, TX and is a currently doctorate (Organizational Leadership with an emphasis of Behavioral Health) student at Grand Canyon University. Steven has given numerous presentations related to Mental Health and Substance Abuse all over the country. Since Steven is a trauma survivor, he is strongly interested in doing research on vicarious trauma. During his leisure time, he loves playing with his chocolate lab, Hope, traveling, reading, and outdoor activities.
